The name Damp refers both to a place and to several independent establishments. For clear identification, the following applies:
Ostseebad Damp is the municipality or village. Ostsee Resort Damp is a business based there; it is not a local authority and not a tourism association.
ostsee resort damp GmbH is the operating company; Ostsee Resort Damp is the brand and the location of the holiday resort.
Hotel Midgard and Ferienhauspark Asgard are accommodation areas within the resort, not independent hotels or holiday parks.
Dampland is the former main name, but it is still used in e-mail addresses, in the booking system and in some on-site communication.
